Diary of Spider by Doreen Cronin is a silly book that lets you in on the secrets of one of the scariest bugs alive. But don’t worry, this spider isn’t scary, just secretive and humorous.

He finally starts working out and becomes stronger than the bullies. But under all the muscle and bulkiness, Willy remains the same, although others see him differently.

Dinosaurs and All That Rubbish by Michael Foreman is a childish tale of humans having to move to a new and clean planet after they filled Earth with garbage and filth and didn’t bother cleaning up. Because there is too much junk, dinosaurs come back to life on Earth and make a promise to the humans that if they agree to clean up, the dinosaurs will not hurt them.

The School is Alive by Jack Chabert is a spooky tale of a boy named Sam who discovers that his school has a dark secret, IT’S ALIVE! As the school play nears, Sam has to make a plan to save his school mates and save the day.

The Goosebumps series by R.L. Stine is perfect kids who love a good scare. R.L. Stine brings a whole new meaning to spooky in this series while also teaching kids a moral lesson throughout each book.

Strega Nona by Tomie de Paola is a magnificent classic about how old ladies aren’t always boring. In this story, an old Italian woman lives a normal life with her magic pasta pot. But when another citizen finds out about Strega’s secret, he tries to rat the old lady out. Will he get away with it?

Fancy Nancy by Jane O’Connor book tells about a little girl that isn’t afraid to be just a little bit fabulous. With a huge personality, she is always adoring everything. Reading with Nancy will always be guaranteed fancy.
