Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney is a LONG series. As of the publishing of this article, there are 11 books, including the “Do-It Yourself” and Movie Diary. The first book is about Greg Heffley’s first year of middle school, which happens to be quite eventful, with everything from being chased by teenagers on Halloween to joining the school’s “Safety Patrol”. The book invented the Cheese Touch, which is from a piece of moldy cheese by the basketball hoops. If someone touches the Cheese, they have the “Touch” and it can be spread by touching others. From my own experience, many people in my class recreated this game when the book first came out. Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a funny book for kids, and at least the first should be read.
