Boys Varsity Volleyball Ends
Boys Varsity Volleyball, the final Falcon sport of the school year, ended their season with a record of one win and four losses. Their final game was a scrimmage win over St. Rita, who tied for the league title and beat the Falcons during the regular season.
The Falcons’ win came in a two sets to zero win over Holy Family of Glendale, which went winless. Last year, the Falcons went undefeated in the regular season before a playoff run that ended with the Falcons in third place in all of CYO Los Angeles.
Three teams tied for the lead in the Foothill League, with St. Rita, Holy Angels, and Holy Family of South Pasadena all sharing identical records of five wins and one loss. Holy Family was the most dominant team of those three, with the only sets lost coming in their only loss.
2015 was a year of regression for the Boys Volleyball, although they ended their season on a high note with a win over one of the league champions, albeit in an unofficial match.
