Los Angeles Marathon
Stuart Serventi ran the LA Marathon relay with his mother on Valentine’s Day February 14, 2016. Each of them ran 13.1 miles, half of the 26.2 mile race. The marathon is held every year because of the success of the 1984 summer Olympic games held in LA. The marathon is currently called the Sketchers Performance LA Marathon. We have interviewed Stuart and here are a few questions:
- Did you train for the marathon, if so how?
Yes, I did train for the marathon.
- How did you decide to run the relay?
I decided to run the relay because I wanted to raise money for water for Africa.
- Did you enjoy it?
I did enjoy the Marathon.
- What was the best part about running the marathon?
I think that the best part of running the marathon was getting closer to the people that were training for the marathon with me. I also like the fact that I was running for something important.
- Would you run it again?
Yes, I would like to run it again because I love running and it was for a good cause.
