On April 8th, the Falcon track team competed at Notre Dame High School in the CYO Regional qualifying meet. The top 8 finishers in each event at the B and Varsity levels, along with the top 8 qualifiers from the 2 other Regional meets, now move on to compete at the CYO preliminary meet at St. Paul High School on April 30th. The Falcons had a great showing at the meet. St. Philip runners qualified in nearly every event at both levels, including all of the relays, the mile, and the field events. There were several top 3 finishers, and a few events where St. Philip swept the top 3 spots! Although overall team results are not available on the CYO website, it appears that St. Philip finished at or near the top.

Coming up on April 30th is the preliminary meet. The top eight qualifiers from each event in that meet will advance to the finals on Tuesday, May 2nd. It will be an exciting evening, so come watch the Falcons as they fly across the finish line!
