Hurricane Irma Hitting Florida

Hurricane Irma hit the florida Keys saturday night and went through south Florida and ended sunday night or monday depending on the area of Florida.  Over 6 million people were evacuated and over 6.5 million people were without power on Monday. They experienced extremely heavy winds that reached up to 130 miles per hour in some parts of Florida. In Cudjoe Key, Florida, boats were turned over and cars were thrown across, trees falling everywhere and buildings destroyed. As of today 8 people were found dead from the Hurricane. Streets are still flooded and tropical storms are still brewing. The biggest fear Florida has now is a warning of there being a tornadoe. There has also been a flash flood warning throughout all of Florida. Streets in Miami are flooded and the levels of water keep going up. They are saying that the water is going to go up and down gradually. The Hurricane is now moving into South Carolina but is no longer as strong and is now just rain and wind. As of now Florida is still in a tropical storm and is slowly recovering from this devastating hurricane.
