In Yokohama Japan, they have a special holiday where a character from Pokemon ( a game) walks all over the streets. The character’s name is Pikachu. Pikachu is a bright yellow mouse that has powers. This holiday started when the Pokemon movie came out in 2014 and over 2 million fans crowded the streets with their Pikachu costumes. Since a lot of people came to this one time event, the people in Yokohama decided to make it an annual holiday. The celebration didn’t only last for a day, but it lasted for a week! This event is the largest gaming event in the world!
