One of my favorite things in the whole wide world are polka dots.  I mean, just listen to the name: Polka is a type of dance and/or music, and Dots is a cupcake place!  Perfect match!  There have been some issues in my life about polka dots, but its all okay now.  And when it comes to patterns, stripes are nothing compared to polka dots.

I love the polka.  It’s a good dance and type of music.  I’ve seen a bunch of people dance it on TV, and I’ve heard it many times on the radio.  Also, I love Dots, the cupcake place.  What is someone danced the polka in Dots?  That would be awesome.  Maybe I could learn the polka, ask my mom to drive me to Dots and dance!!  Then eat my cupcake, of course.

I’ve had so many polka dot issues.  The last time was in the 5^th grade while making turkeys for Thanksgiving (which happened to be recently).  Corinne and I were happily making our turkeys, and then we talked.  We found out that we both wanted polka dots to go on our turkeys!  We had a huge chat.  Then we decided that I would make polka dots on my bubble, and she would make hers on her turkey.  Yeah!!  I am happy now.

I like polka dots way better than stripes when it comes to patterns.  I feel kind of badly for stripes, though.  I feel like no one likes them.  Maybe it’s just me.  I bet that to someone they are as exciting as a cheeseburger ready to be eaten.  But to me, they are as exciting as a piece of dust I left in Palm Springs floating in the air.  Then polka dots to me are as exciting as a ride on an elephant.  A big one.  Sorry stripe. You were on my turkey though, what an honor!

See?!  See how much I love polka dots?!  I love the polka, and Dots is so good.  I have had some issues, but I still think they are better than stripes!  Aren’t polka dots awesome?!  I think they are.  But, did you know… polka dots are only ONE of my favorite things.  I still have many, many more!!!
