Cooking: Tres Leches



tres leches cake



  1. One box of Betty Crocker yellow cake mix
  2. 3 eggs
  3. 1 cup water
  4. ½ cup oil
  5. 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  6. 1 cup evaporated milk
  7. 1 cup heavy cream
  8. 1 juiced orange
  9. 1 ½  zested oranges

Whipped Cream:

  1. 1 cup of heavy cream
  2. ½ tablespoon of vanilla extract
  3. ¼ cup sugar



  1. Preheat oven to 350℉ and grease a 13×9 inch pan
  2. Make the cake batter add the water, oil, eggs, and add the orange juice and 1 zested orange
  3. Then add the batter to the pan and bake for 30 min
  4. Next, let cool for 3 hours before you pour the milk mixture
  5. To make the milk mixture combine the condensed milk, evaporated milk, and heavy cream by whisking together
  6. When done with that pour the mixture over the top of the cake and let it soak for three hours
  7. While you are waiting for that, you can make the whipped cream by pouring the vanilla, sugar, and heavy cream into an electric mixer and whipping until fluffy texture
  8. Lastly, put the whipped cream on top of the cake and smooth it down and top it off with the last half of the zested orange
