Falcons Win Falcon Invitational

St. Philip won their own meet, Falcon Invitational, with the boys placing first and the girls placing second, competing with eleven other teams in a field of over 500 competitors. The Falcons won the girls novice and the boys B divisions and dominated the races, and would have placed higher in the rankings by division if not for the St. Rita team dominating the field events, filling out four of six of the places in most of the throwing events.

The Falcons broke several meet records. Arielle Guzman won the girls Varsity race, setting a Falcon Invitational record with a time that would have set the CYO record in CYO finals. Anthony Stone set the meet record in the 200 meter B boys race, and was also part of 4×400 meter relay team that set a meet record and bested the CYO record time. The Falcons dominated the 4×400 meter races, winning the race in all six of the divisions.

The Novice Girls and B boys won their division overall, with Novice boys, B girls, and Varsity girls in second overall, with Varsity boys in third in their division.
