Audible is a subscription audio book service costing $14.95 a month that allows users to listen to short term books, lectures, and comedy shows.  Audible was introduced in July this summer and is advertised by a multitude of notable people.  They recently merged with Amazon Prime allowing users to view from a smaller selection than an Audible subscriber.  Amazon Prime costs $99 annually and that now includes Audible services.  This was a change made with things like same day delivery for prime.  Audible services can be compared to podcasts and Netflix.  The service is still fairly new so it doesn’t have a very large selection but it is estimated to grow in the future to include newer and older selections.  But it is not just $14.95, you can download 1 free book a month and you then get 30% off all future purchases.
