City of Bones
City of Bones by Cassandra Clare is part one of six books. The story focuses on fifteen year old Clary Fray as she discovers a group of people called the Shadowhunters, who are part human and part angel. She also learns that magical creatures exist, such as vampires and werewolves. When her mother is taken by an evil Shadowhunter named Valentine, Clary must team up with some new friends to get her back, and maybe learn a little more about herself along the way.
