The National Basketball Association (NBA) championship series is right around the corner and features the Golden State Warriors versus the Cleveland Cavaliers.  The Warriors led by this season’s Most Valuable Player, Stephen (Steph) Curry, beat the New Orleans Pelicans, Memphis Grizzlies, and Houston Rockets to become the Western Conference Champions and advance to the NBA championship series.  The Cavaliers led by Lebron James, the NBA’s 2013 Most Valuable Player, beat the Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, and Atlanta Hawks to become the Eastern Conference Champions.  The best of seven NBA championship series begins on Thursday, June 4.  It will start an all or nothing battle between the East and West Champions.  Key factors in a championship for the Warriors are the health of center Andrew Bogut, the scoring of Curry, and the defense of Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.  For Cleveland to win the championship, key factors are the dominance of James and for the rest of the team to contribute and play as well as they can.  Based on their regular season statistics, the Warriors should win the series.
