On November 12, the last Penny was printed. The Penny can still be used as a currency, but won’t be a popular one. The once treasured one-cent coin was last printed in Philadelphia. The reason it was discontinued was it cost 4 cents to make one singular copper penny. A penny was 100 of a whole which is 1 cent, but retailers are selling it for $5 or even $6. Many will miss this coin and are going to treasure the ones they still have in their wallet.
