The Maze Runner series: Review
SPOILER ALERT!
The Maze Runner trilogy by James Dashner is a very good read. The series was very suspenseful, filled with numerous plot twists and action sequences. The characters were well developed and diverse, with creative names that related to famous people (Example is Thomas to Thomas Edison). The ending was a little anticlimactic. With Teresa, Chuck, and Newt dead, Thomas and the rest find a happy ending. The thing that didn’t truly satisfy me was that he never got his memories back, but that’s a minor detail to be solved by the prequel. One thing that occasionally grew hard to keep track of was the numerous new terms of the future. A few: the Flare, Crank, the Scorch, WICKED, Glader, etc. Overall, this series was incredible and worth the time.
