Cherub

The book Cherub, a realistic fiction novel by Robert Muchamore, is about a boy named James who through a series of bad luck becomes a secret agent for a mysterious organization.  James is an average 12 year-old boy who lives in Britain.  One day in science class his lab partner Samantha was making fat jokes about his mom which made James furious.  He pushed her against a wall which accidentally cut her cheek on a rusty nail and then knocked over his teacher as he stormed out of class.  For this, James was expelled from school.  Later that night as James and his little sister Lauren were walking home from dinner, Samantha’s brother Greg found James and slashed his school uniform to shreds with a knife.  He threatened James by saying “this is only the beginning”.  Soon after that, James discovered that his mother was dead because his stepfather Ron gave her alcohol while she was taking medication.  Because of that, James was sent to a children’s home and his sister Lauren had to live with Ron, who she hates.  James then got into trouble for stealing beer from a liquor store and ended up in jail.  After falling asleep in his cell, James woke up in a mysterious place called Cherub.  Read the realistic fiction novel Cherub by Robert Muchamore to find out what happens to James next.
