Are you tired of having a mess on your desk? Now here is one thing that everyone will be asking where you bought…and you can just say, “Oh, I made it!” Those pens on your desk, in your mom’s old mug or in a cup, really look bored in there, don’t they? Here are a great ideas on how to clean up that mess and make your desk look fabulous. Step one is to take an empty mason jar or tin can that you may have. Wash it out and clean it so you don’t have any residue inside. After you have cleaned it out it is time for creativity to take over. Decide the style or look you are trying to recreate and grab some paints or pictures you may have. Paint on some cool designs like flowers or your favorite sports team logo, or just paint the entire thing to make it stand out on your desk. If you want to add pictures, cut outs of comic strips, or perhaps some stickers, it is a good idea to use a mason jar so you can glue your picture(s) to the inside of the jar and see it without the risk of getting it torn or dirty on the outside of the jar. Continue to add things until you have the perfect look. Display it on your desk with your favorite markers, pens, pencils, etc. There you have it! A great way to add some color to your everyday desk essentials, while you avoid misplacing them.
