This is a great book for everyone who loves dogs. Oogy by Larry Levin is the story of a family and their family pet. Oogy is was used as a bait dog for fighting dogs when he was little, and now is missing an ear. We learn of the heart-warming tale of this wonderful dog and the people who allowed him to recover and flourish. If you’re looking for a quick nonfiction for the Reading Tracker in Language Arts, I recommend Oogy!
